A bright light went out in the ski-racing world on December 7, 2014. Mark (Sully) Sullivan not only touched the lives of thousands of ski racers around the world, but was a smiling, jovial face in the North Tahoe community since 1958. In honor of Sully, a scholarship fund has been created in his name by his niece and nephew, Chelsea (Sullivan) Robinson and Marco Sullivan.
Sully always loved to see kids working hard and enjoying the sport of skiing and ski racing. He was a strong believer that the more time and passion you poured into the sport, the more you would be rewarded. Sully had the biggest smile when he saw a group of his athletes coming in after the lifts were closed and high fiving each other because of a great day on the mountain.
Sully would want this scholarship money to go to an athlete who works hard, is a good teammate and is driven to achieve their goals in the sport of skiing. If you feel you are such an athlete and are interested in applying for this scholarship, please submit a brief essay, which covers the following points:

- What is one of your favorite memories from skiing?
- What are your goals for the upcoming season?
Please submit all applications 10 days prior to the annual Asado to:
